What happens at your first visit.
Thorough clinical assessment
Dr Denize will examine your teeth, bite, jaw joints, and facial structure. He'll assess spacing, crowding, alignment, and any bite issues that may benefit from orthodontic treatment. This is a specialist-level evaluation, not a brief look.
Records and photographs
Clinical photographs are taken to support the assessment and document your starting point. If x-rays or digital scans are needed for treatment planning, these can usually be taken here at the practice — and there is no charge for any imaging we take.
Discussion of findings
Dr Denize will walk you through what he has found and explain any concerns in plain language. He'll outline which treatment options may be appropriate for your situation and why — without assuming you have any prior knowledge of orthodontics.
Transparent cost discussion
If treatment is recommended, Dr Denize will provide an indication of costs, likely duration, and any health fund rebates that may apply. There are no hidden fees and no pressure. You take the information home and decide in your own time.

Yes. The initial consultation at Claremont Orthodontics is provided at no charge. There is no fee for the assessment, the discussion of findings, or the treatment recommendations Dr Denize provides. How long does the first appointment take?
Allow approximately 45 to 60 minutes for your first visit to our Claremont practice on Stirling Highway.
