Removable. Discreet. Custom-made for your smile.
A series of custom-made clear trays that gradually move your teeth — removable for eating and brushing, virtually invisible when worn.
The treatment plan is the skill — aligners are the tool.
Digital planning
Dr Denize creates a precise digital treatment plan using 3D scans of your teeth. Every movement is mapped before your first aligner is made.
Custom-made clear trays
Each aligner is custom-fabricated to your teeth. You wear them for 20–22 hours per day, removing them only for eating, drinking (anything other than water), and brushing.
Progressive changes
You change to a new set of aligners every 1–2 weeks. Each set moves your teeth incrementally toward the final position.
Regular check-ins
Dr Denize monitors your progress with regular appointments, adjusting the plan if needed. Specialist oversight ensures complex movements are carefully managed throughout treatment.
Aligners are not suitable for every case.
We believe in honesty over sales. Clear aligners work well for mild to moderate crowding and spacing — but complex bite issues, significant jaw misalignment, or severe crowding may require fixed braces for the best result. Dr Denize will tell you upfront what will and won't work.
Ideal for mild to moderate cases.
Dr Denize's specialist training means he can manage complex aligner cases that require specialist-level treatment planning. But he will also tell you honestly if braces would give you a better result.
Removed only for eating, drinking, and oral hygiene. Compliance is essential for results.
Each new set moves your teeth incrementally. Total number of aligners varies by case.
The aligners themselves are a commodity. The treatment plan — how your teeth are moved, in what sequence, and by how much — is where specialist training matters.
Frequently asked questions about clear aligners.
Clear aligner treatment typically takes 6 to 18 months depending on the complexity of your case. Mild crowding may resolve in as little as 6 months, while more involved cases can take longer. Dr Denize will give you a personalised timeline at your free consultation in Claremont.
Yes. Unlike fixed braces, clear aligners are removable. You take them out for all meals and drinks (except water), so there are no food restrictions. Simply brush your teeth before reinserting them.
For the best results, aligners should be worn 20 to 22 hours per day. They are only removed for eating, drinking anything other than water, and brushing your teeth. Consistent wear is essential for staying on track with your treatment plan.
For many mild to moderate cases, clear aligners can achieve comparable results to fixed braces. However, complex bite issues or significant jaw misalignment may require braces for the most predictable outcome. Dr Denize will assess your case at our Claremont practice and advise honestly which option is most suitable.
The cost of clear aligner treatment varies depending on the complexity and duration of your case. We discuss all fees upfront at your consultation — no hidden costs. Flexible payment plans are available to help spread the cost of treatment.
Contact our Claremont practice as soon as possible. We may ask you to move to your next set of aligners or go back to the previous set while a replacement is made, depending on where you are in your treatment sequence. Losing the occasional aligner is not a disaster, but it is important to act quickly so your treatment timeline stays on track.
We recommend removing your aligners before drinking anything other than plain water. Hot liquids can warp the plastic, and dark drinks like coffee and tea can stain clear aligners. Drinking with aligners in also traps liquid against your teeth, increasing the risk of decay. Simply pop them out, enjoy your coffee, rinse your mouth, then reinsert.
For mild to moderate crowding, clear aligners can be very effective under specialist planning. Severe crowding — particularly cases involving significant jaw discrepancies or complex bite issues — may be better treated with fixed braces. Dr Denize will give you an honest assessment at your consultation, and will only recommend aligners if they are the right tool for your case.
